2G Creating a MAF adapter to Air Filter

As I don't have time to order an adapter from outside the country before taking a roadtrip, I need some ideas.
I don't have access to any welding equipment so metal won't really work.

Do you think a 3D Printer would suffice?

I don't see why not. There's alot of abs plastic filter adapters out there, so a printed one from the right material should be fine.
