I'm brining my engine to the machine shop very soon for my stroker build and I want to make sure they build it to spec. I know I need to provide them the piston to wall clearance, but what other clearances/specifications do I need to be aware of? Is there anything to be done to the camshaft caps? Here is what I am planning on having done:

Hot Tank
Resurface block and head
Crankshaft Hone
Piston .020 Bore/Hone
Balance Rotating Assembly
Pressure Test Head
3 Angle Valve Job

I see you have a 95 so are using a 6 or 7 bolt motor?

If 6 bolt: (sorry I don't do any 7 bolt builds)

turn / polish crank, mic for bearings (std, 0.010 over, etc.)
clearance main caps (6 bolts I know need this) and #3 cylinder in block
piston to wall (PTW) clearance should be available from the manufacturer
tell them for the surface (block and head) you want a "40 r.a." or better finish
don't forget to install a BSE kit!
get ARP head and main studs

What pistons, rods, etc. are you planning on running?

Ok, thanks for the update. I would recommend (in addition to my first post)

install ARP main studs (have the main caps line bored and honed
port the oil relief valve when doing the BSE kit
balancing is up to you (budget, time, machine shops ability, etc.) I would recommend .2 ounce / inches (target balance for the rotating assembly)

As a side note, if you plan on running higher boost have the machine shop guy setup the PTW clearance a little on the loose side. Mahle doesn't have a problem with thermal expansion like Wiesco does. Did you order your parts yet?

Yes parts are ordered and should be in within a week or so. Got ARP main and head studs and the Eagle Rods came with ARP studs too. I think I got everything I need, but the only thing I am unsure with is which specifications I need to give to the machine shop when they work on it. So far I have PTW spec and the crankshaft specs. Is that all? What else do I need to plastigauge? The rods, crankshaft, and bearings are new, do I need to platigauge them?

Dropping everything off at the machine shop next week. For the crankshaft and rod bearing clearances, do I use the stock (.0008"-.0020") or are there different clearances with ACL Racing Bearings and Eagle Rods/Crankshaft?

Stock on the main bearings
.003" on the rod bearings
Whatever the piston manufacture recommends for piston to wall clearance and ring gaps.
