m/t ecu swap to a/t ecu swap

Do i need to get a automatic tranny ecu if i am going to swap out my manual tranny for a auto tranny? sorry for the dumb question but want to make sure.

No, the ecu is only different because the A/T has smaller injectors and different fuel pressures. As long as you aren't changing that stuff, you're okay with your M/T ecu.

You'll need the automatic TCU, but you probably already know that.

Nope, anything bigger than stock requires you to have to adjust fuel somehow. You can either use an AFC, Keydiver chip, or DSMLink. The ecu has no way of knowing that you put in larger injectors otherwise. Hope this helps.

so how much boost can the 450 cc stock injectors take? i do have a MAFT if that will work

A MAFT will work as well.

There's no set answer for how much boost 450s can handle. It all depends on what mods. Do you have a logger? That will tell you most of the information you're looking for. You'll be able to log knock as well as injector duty cycle.
