M/t to A/t swap

Anyone have any idea what you would need to do a m/t trans to an a/t swap I know you would ned wireing harness for that year and make/model trans and the ecu for that make/model so anything else i'm missing?? besides stuff you remove?

Sorry for not answering the question. But I am wondering why you want to do M/T to A/T swap most people on here are asking about a A/T to M/T swap. Just so curious

Ya, that is weird doing an A/T conversion. But like stated earlier, most people are looking to do the opposite swap. Just find some posts on here like that and I'm sure most guys will do a straight up trade for the trannys.

Maybe hes intrested in the fact that Autos can build tons of boost at the line or the fact that autos are way more consistent at the track. Each trans has its own pros and cons. In the posters case looks like he found more pros in an automatic tranny. I really dont think swaps are worth it..I would sell your current car and pick up an auto dsm they go for pretty damn cheap.

Hmmmmmmmmm, M/T to A/T??? I think thats the first time I have heard that one for a DSM, what is your reason, by the way??

Well, my reason is because I only have my left arm and.. I found a 1g talon awd but it's a stick and it's 2,200 and all the auto i'm finding they actuly want more.. some reason but I was just being curious and yea brake boost with an awd and having a shift kit with high stall tourq converter will build upto 22 lbs of boost brake boosting with a high stall tourq =)
