Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum but I post under the same name on G35driver.com, my350z.com, orlandoforums.com, and evolutionm.net
I'm a G35 owner but I stumbled upon a really nice GSX I just couldn't pass up for the price: $Free.99!!!! so the car is in real good cosmetic shape but had a blown motor. So far I took the motor down to the Machine shop and had it bored .40 over because .20 didn't clear the rust and also got it decked. I dropped a set of eagle rods with Wiseco race-ready dome pistons, Calico-coated race bearings, cometic head gasket and a felpro gasket kit.
I'm in the process of getting oversized valves, springs, and retainers from REV in Ft. Lauderdale and a few other goodies but anyways, I'm getting off the subject here...
Unfortunately for me, the car is an A/T and I want to swap it out to M/T. What things do I need and how much should I be expecting to pay. I'd be doing all the work myself. I just need to be pointed in the right direction.
I suppose ECU, tranny, clutch and brake pedals...? what else?
Does an M/T ecu just plug right up to an A/T harness?
