WTF ...

Wow, that thing rides pretty high.

I wish I were joking when I said this, but that guy needs to just stop racing and get that car a few feet off the ground.

I mean it... it's the start of a DSM lift-kit revolution.

That thing looks nuckin futs!!

I have a friend that lives up there. He told me about this car like two years ago. He said this car was the fastest car at every autocross. He said the car is absolutely crazy. Last time I saw the car he was running NORMAL slicks and sitting near stock height. Car is nuts either way. But if it helped with turn in and keeps traction, then I saw awesome.

I wonder what a Mini tub on a awd car would look like! Wide body and slammed OMG just imagine that!

I don't see any wire spokes. If you zoom in, they almost look like CCW's.

I wonder how bad his side mirrors were damaged before he pulled them off. I can only imagine how many rocks those things throw.

You actually have to make a difficult decision if you run in F/Prepared. Most of us like tires with a diameter of 24.7", such as 245/45/16 or 285/30/18, but it's extremely hard to find true slicks in this size. You are usually forced to decide between 23.8" and 25.3". The smaller tires give you great gearing (which you can fully take advantage of with the grip of true slicks), but the larger tires can be had in wider widths. Looks like this guy went with the tall and wide tires, probably the 13"-wides.

I've already been eyeing my future lineup of ground controls, and 275's although I'll most likely put a set of zg flares over them.

I race with this family everyonce in awhile. They are 12" wide wheels. He has a quickened steering system, TRE tranny.... Its a father son project car that they have been building up for awhile now, almost all of the fabrication they have completed themselves. The cars biggest problem is its heavy, but it has to be because of FP weight penalties . Last autoX in Sioux Falls he had the FTD by like 3 seconds 66s and 67s lap times. Atleast until Russ Wiles jumped into his M3 LTW and like a 64 second lap. Its a very impressive car WHEN it runs right.

I wonder how similar Greg's car would look without his flares?

My flares are maybe an 1-3/8" tops from the body, and my Bogart's are 9-1/2" with a 5-1/2" back spacing, so it's not all that radical. I'm thinking about doing some body molds to fabricate front fenders. I'm also thinking about doing a reconfiguration of the rear fenders like the Starion. I have 2G racecar that this is already completed on.

That thing is nuts!! He is obviously built that car to the limits of the rules.
I wasn't aware our cars ran in F Prepared, I'm running mine in E Prepared because there's nobody in FSP, but it was my understanding the n/a cars ran EP, and the turbo cars ran DP.

Can anyone clear this up??

To that first car I can only say............OMG. That wide body eclipse is crazy though.
