Lowering a 4wd Colt Vista

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've posted last, but I am wondering what vehicles suspention will be comparable with my 1987 Colt Vista 4x4? I'm looking to lower it a good 1.5" to 2.5" depending on set ups. Lowering Springs preferred. I have a set of stock 2ga Eclipse springs and I've been contemplating putting them on (if possible if course)

Pretty much just looking for more control in the canyon I drive every day, the car is sitting on 18" wheels with 215/40/r18 Yokahama directionals.

You might be able to get a set of coil overs to work up front. What type of suspension is in the rear?
