2G Low Oil Pressure

Question, on my 98 GST Eclipse, my oil pressure is fine when the car is cold but when it warms up, the oil pressure drops all the way down to almost nothing. When I accelerate, it goes up. Its a 4G63 motor swap, not sure of the year on the bottom end, but the top end is a 98, with the stock gauges. What should I check first?

That's actually kind of common behavior when the sender or its wiring goes bad. But with the stock gauge, even it's working properly you can't really know anything more than if there is some pressure or not. If the oil pressure switch (oil pressure warning light) is still working properly and if you don't see the light comes up, then at least you have 7 psi or up.

What should I check first?

If you want to read the actual oil pressure, get an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. Or if you have a method to log or display sensor input, then just get a pressure sensor.
