low oil pressure

hey guys i have yet another Qusetion. I finally got my talon running and it runs good, but im getting a low oil pressure at idle. it goes up while im driving it but at idle its just slightly above the "L" mark on the oil guage theirs no noise coming from the engine from what i can hear so what could be the problem.. I just finished replacing the timing belt. and putting in a small 16g with front mount cooler. and also what psi does fuel cut kick in at

The stock oil gauge can sometimes be unreliable, when you are cruising on the highway around 2500-3500 rpm is it right around/slightly below the middle if so you are fine if not then either way i would suggest getting an aftermarket electrical oil pressure gauge..

You should check your oil pump how many miles does it have your car. If dont get check soon it can cost you big money you runing a risk of cranck walk because is not getting enough oil that what i read also the car manual say if low at idle get it check soon it could be your oil pump so check soon .

The factory gauges are kinda unreliable. I would definitely suggest getting an aftermarket. As far as the fuel cut, check the tech tips on roadraceengineering.com
