Low oil pressure. Will BSE fix?

I have a 96 GST that I bought, which was basically trashed. Ive got it up and running. Minus a few vac leaks, it runs awesome....runs super hard. Only problem I have is that it seems when you first start the car it has decent oil pressure. But after it starts to get warm, it develops a ticking in the head, and the oil pressure gauge goes stupid low. I have 10w30 in it.

My questions are:
What can cause this problem?
What can I do to solve it?
Will BSE help get my oil pressure back where it needs to be?

I done the BSE on my 4g64t and the bi-product was ridiculous oil pressure, and I ended up having to port the relief, because it was scary high. I'm thinking if I do BSE on this car it will bump up my oil pressure to where it needs to be.

Any suggestions?

Take a picture of the gauge, if its up a 1/4" from the bottom its fine.

You will need to fix all the vacuum leaks and any of the other idiotic stuff the previous owner did under the hood before you will get a true picture of how youe engine runs. In all likley hood he never changed the oil. there is some stuff that I buy called cd-2 for sticky lifters. it works great. I put it in a trans am that had not had the oil changed in 20000 miles + it had been over a year since it had been changed. REPO. Anyway i put 2 cans in since it was a quart low and let it idle for an hour or so and it cleared it up. The thing ran great.

use wix or mobile oil filters that have a check valve in them. i switched to a wix oil filter from fram and at idle my low low oil pressure increased. Besides, the OEM oil filter comes with this check valve so its there for a reason.

btw i have the BSE with port relief.
