I was low on oil, then I heard the clacking while driving.

My 420a idles, drives, and does everything but THE LOUD LOUD CLICKING CLACKING NOISES!

Could this mean a bad oil pump, or bad lifters because of no oil ?

I refilled oil, should I let it idle with the engine full of oil?

Should I just buy some seafoam and put it into the crankcase and see if it frees the lifters?

It was only super low on oil for about 30 seconds before I pulled over on the freeway and got some oil brought to me.

Could someone please help me get that loud noise to go away ? Do you guys think there is damage to the engine ?

PLEASE HELP, WORRIED!

Thanks all ! Any help appreaciated.
