low idle when in gear 92 talon awd tsi a/t

hey guys , i have a 92 eagle talon 16g turbo, front-mount, 255iph fuel pump . my issue is car idles fine when in park like around 1200 -1000 .when i put it in gear ,reverse it idles low give it gas and it will die or close too dying. idles around 500, i have checked for leaks boost and vacuum .what could it be? i would appreciate the help . been struggling for month. thanks .

what your describing i had the same problem. mine was the coil packs id check those i was sparking but blue and orange and on cylinder 1 i was barley getting spark i replaced them and solved my problem. id pull the plug wires wile the car is running and see how your sparking and if there is a difference between any of them you found your problem but be careful its not fun getting shocked, id also check your mass airflow sensor (mas) or idle air controle (iac) good luck

Mine maybe drops 100 rpm when I put it in gear, but dropping to 500 rpm is not normal.

yea i checked all leaks isc working fine fiav good coils are good i was wondering would the lines on the transmission running to the radiator could be switched around .if so is that a big issue or doesn't matter how the go? and also to make sure the lines going in to the fiav are correct does anyone know where they go?

Id like to know this too.

My car idles high in park (1500rpm) then in drive it drops to 600 650. It never dies, but it seems to struggle sometimes because of the low idle.
