No Bench Racing! rofl

i can see high 12's/low 13's out of that

add meth and cams then low 12's

Well I'm hitting the track here real soon, but it seems everyone is telling me a e16g will not get me to my goal and looking at it am getting doubt full and would hate to buy something else. So I guess after the clutch install head to the track and get a set number If i run a 13 I think my goal might not be reached with the e16g.

43 lbs/min seems a bit high to me for a 16g, I would check for boost leaks to make sure that you aren't leaking air at some point. Are you still on the stock MAS? I've never had to deal with 91 as we get 93 over here :sneaky: But you should be able to see at least high-mid 12's with good driving on pump and a decent tune. Low 12's may or may not be possible with 91, like I said I really don't know but I suspect good intercooling and possibly some meth injection would fix those low octane problems right up. Cams couldn't hurt either.

Its possible to reach low 12's on a E16G. It just takes alot to get there, you got to push that turbo pretty hard.

Yeha the 43/lbs was a leak...

I rebuilt a 60mm TB and did a FIAV block off and ICS delete and hove no leaks I hit about 39-40/lbs now at 21psi

Low 12's are very attainable on the 16g. Last season on race I was running 12.052 at 116 as a best ET with a best trap of around 118 and on pump 12.3x and 12.4x slips at 113. The only thing between me and a 11 second slip was the fact that I was an idiot and over-revved the engine on just about every shift, I should've been shifting no higher than 7500, but I digress. With a properly set up car this is very attainable for you.

What was your boost increase from pump to race I also see your 93 and am on crapo 91?

I don't have a log of a race gas on this computer (I'm at work), but the pump was at 21-22psi and the race was at least spiking to 26psi, I can't recall if this held to redline or not, but I strongly suspect it did. I just can't be sure here as my memory is kinda fuzzy on that one. I think with the 93 octane we probably get away with running more timing at similar boost levels than you would though.

Well I'm hitting the track here real soon, but it seems everyone is telling me a e16g will not get me to my goal.
Go to the track and prove them wrong. You'll be fine.

If you don't reach your goal, then there are other routes other than upgrading your turbo. You'll continue to get faster as your driving/racing skills improve. Also look into weight reduction.

Unfortunately, this is bench racing, so I can't can't allow this thread to continue.
