From my experience, that's how it goes with most sports cars, DSM or not. Especially older ones from the 90's. My 96 Talon does the same thing. Same with my friends 98 Eclipse. Heck i've got a friend with a 94 Pontiac Firebird that does the same thing.

It's nothing to worry about as far as I know.
