Did you replace them with LED's? I have a bag full that I want to run to decrease amp draw. Nice and bright man!

Yes i did. I used orange ones.. tried amber and they looked like mcdonalds in my dash .. only found one place that sells the orange.

I know that 2G DSMs have the orange tint on the dash itself, but how exactly do you go about swapping the stock bulbs for LED ones? Is it a simple matter of replacing them straight up, or do you have to do custom wiring/soldering to fit the LEDs?

Just a straight swap for t10 bulbs.. amber looks yellow but orange looks nice...only need 5 for the gauges themselves. 9 if you do the blinkers, high beam and low gas... all the other bulbs are the small 2g style.. i forget the numbers
