LOUD NOISES!!! Help

So, on my way to work today my car started making a loud clunking noise. The noise seems to be coming from the front left, gets louder and faster the faster I go, and goes away under accel/braking. I'm thinking grenaded CV, what do you think? If it is the CV, any recomendations on brand/retailer?
