loud noises!!

ok... maby im just stuped or something, i installed a new alternator and put everything back together tightened the belt to the right tention and everything but now it makes a very loud squeking noise and theres rubber all on the cam gear cover from were one of the belts were rubing on somthing.. so i took it all back apart and put it all back in again and checked the belts and there not tuching or rubing on anything even when the engine in runing. it makes the noise when its cold at idle but after the engine warms up it only dose it when i accelerate....????

Try changing the belt.

Did you have the water pump pulley off? If so make sure it isn't on backwards as then it has a slight offset affecting the belts.
