Lots of corrosion in piping from methanol injection

Been spraying 50/50 water-meth for over 2 years now, works great!! However today i decided to check up on the nozzle just to see if the orifice hasnt clogged up or maybe just choked down from corrosion, when i opened up the joint between the uicp and the TB elbow there was a lot of corrosion sitting there, maybe another year i would imagine it completely eating through my uicp, the OEM TB elbow had lots of corrosion but it doesnt seem to be eating through it, just on the surface... Im thinking of cutting a section off my uicp and go with another material, what material would be water/meth compatible?

For those of you spraying meth, its a good idea to check up that area where you have the nozzle mounted

Interesting results. Haven't heard of that much, do you turn the car off soon after the nozzle spraying ever?
I imagine you are using mild steel piping to be corroded nearly through, am I wrong?

I haven't noticed any corrosion after over a year with aluminum piping

I never turn off the car immediately after spraying, well over 5-10 mins at least but even thats rare. I dont know the material of my UICP since it came with the car when i bought it years ago

Is it painted? Is it magnetic?
