Loose pulley on ps pump ?

Having some minor noise with ps pump . It has fluid , new belt , and is tight . So it is not belt noise . I am just wondering if there should be any shaft play in pulley ? It does move in and out . Also it is not leaking , I just hear a noise like a bearing is dry . You know the dry metal to metal whining . It does get louder with acceleration .

Sounds like maybe a wobble in the pulley. I would definitely check the bolts that hold it on, they may have backed themselves out.

Only the pulley itself is loose not the pump . Are you saying there are bolts that hold the pulley on ?
