Removed PS, ? on Rack n' pinion

Whats the best place to get a manual rack? Is there any other options I have other then a manual rack? I had to remove the PS due to a few reasons. My old civic didnt have PS and it was a boitch to steer going under 5mph. Im trying to figure out if there is a way to help this problem.

To my knowledge, there isn't a manual rack for 2G's.

Well thats not good. What's the proper direction to take when you remove your PS then? I know it's been done, just not sure how it's compensated for.

You dont, its really not that bad if you keep your tires full. I have mine removed on my
1g and have not gotten around to rack and pinion. Its not that bad really.

Good one. Well luckily for me autocrossing is not my goal. Im basically working on a straight line car thats mainly a weekend warrior. So driveablity isnt a huge concern. Im not so much worried about how hard it is going to be to steer at slow speeds. My concern is messing up the rack and pinion and having to deal with that horrific clicking noise created when it goes. On my civic it sounded like a CV boot failed. Im just trying to figure out a way to either completely rid of the rack and go with a ball joint set up or get a manual one. I know there's an answer to this somewhere. I've just had no luck finding it thus far.

BTW the Bowflex is on order
