Hello, I read all of the faq's and I have learned a lot about DSM cars. I know they are all similar, and since they are much more widespread in this area I was going to look into purchasing one. I wanted to know if there is anything specific i should know and what i should look for when checking out cars, like any warning signs, or things i should be asking the seller. I am paraplegic, so unfortunately i need to get an auto
but i read that there are shift kits available. I presume that the mitsubishi parts bolt right on to one of the others, but if i wanted the eclipse taillights would I have to replace the whole rear portion or would just the taillights work?
I believe the current one i am looking at is a 1g Talon but im not 100% sure yet, dont know if its turbo or not but im going to check it out hopefully tomorrow and i can post some pics for you guys and let you know how much the guy wants for it if he is home.
I am coming from the mindset of buying a 96 civic hatch, i still love those cars but they just dont have many around here and it would cost me more to track one down. One of my freinds has a 2g eclipse with LOTS of work done and still being done, so he suggested i check out some DSM cars.
