Hey i currently have a 1995 eagle talon tsi, 130,000. Its pretty stock, just with an intake and some other small upgrades. Now I'm looking at a 99 eclipse. Now it wasn't turbo originally but they put a hahn stage two turbo kit i believe, I want to know anything i should look for telling me not to purchase the car before i do. The engine looks like its completely custom, doesn't look too pretty but its okay. If i were to take a picture anyone think they could tell me if its worth the 6K they're looking for? Thanks!

A picture is worth a 1000 words. Better take a couple.

Read this and inspect for it. Find out if they have any other modifications on top of the Hahn stage 2 turbo kit. Check compression. Inspect the turbo for shaft play. Test drive the vehicle, paying close attention to it's idle, and note any issues. Make sure that it transitions smoothly into boost. If the CEL is on, pull the code.

Adding a turbo to a 2gnt is a simple and straight-forward affair, and seldom results in any sort of a nightmare. If boosted improperly, though, can lead to the quick destruction of the motor.
