looking to get SBR-T67

I'm looking into picking up the SBR-T67 from slowboy as a street/strip setup. motor has mild build (Wisco 9:1, Eagles, ARP Studs top and bottom etc etc) I have not heard too much on it wanted know anyones experience with this turbo, power you're making and driveability. I drive my car mostly on the weekend not too much during the week.

What kinda times are you trying to crack off? Is your car full-weight? Answering both of those questions would better help tailor the best turbo for your application.

That is a big turbo and not what I would call a street turbo and is usually seen in t4 form too which doesn't make it any better. Great track turbo and stroker motor turbo but for a 2.0 car that you plan on driving on the street I would look elsewhere

I agree above! It is capable of good power but the spoolup will not be street friendly, but yes you can drive it on the street! If you were racing a car with good torque from a roll, he would pull a good distance ahead before you spool that thing and then youd have to catch him which may take 100mph+ Most small street encounters by me only go up to like 70-80mph if your lucky. I would look a little smaller like a 60-1 and under. Maybe a holset!

I believe Slowboy offers this turbo with your choice of a T3 or T4 turbine housing. I would stick with the T3 if you plan on driving this car on the street at all.

For what it's worth, there are much better choices out there. BW / Holset will offer just as much potential with better spool and much better durability.

Kinetic (the company that builds the SBR turbos) even offers the T67 in a DSM Bolt-on turbine housing, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Way to take a compressor wheel with a 3.25" exducer and kill it's ability to produce airflow by stuffing it into a tiny 7cm2 DSM turbine housing. I'll bet that thing struggles to make 48lb/min at 30psi. Kinetic Motorsport: KINETIC DSM T67GJ TURBO
