Hi everybody I'm from Sacramento too! Well I just stumbled across this thread from the dsmtalk archives. So what DSM does everybody drive? My car has basic mods, nothing in terms of substanial horsepower; that is until I upgrade the friggin' tiny turbo. Trying to pull resources/parts together as we speak. Well I go to school in San Jose State trying to get my B.S. in mechanical engineering so I can slap the crap out of mitsubishi for not making our cars better ;) Anyhow I come back on the weekends to work (need cash for my expensive, high maintance girlfriend, the stupid car. Man, I don't know bout you guys but I hate my car as much as I love it :p Just found out my clutch master cylinder is slowly dripping...urrrr....dammit gotta fix that again! Just when I'm ready to get a new mod too!!! Hey, don't you guys get harrassed but the Sheriffs out in the Sunrise area? Especially during the weekends when all the ricers and racers are out? Well just wanted to introduce myself as a DSM enthusias also. C Ya. Oh yeah, I know what you are saying about Street Toyz performance, don't go there. They got inexperience young bucks over there trying to fix cars plus I heard they "test drive (SMASH THE SH** OUT OF IT) your car." Plus the owner, Richard is a dumbass. I heard Dynamic motorsports is knowledgeable although never went their before.

so fellas what's going on? are we still going to do this or what?
ego has an excuse but i havent heard anything from you guys.
let me know
later,
maui

I totally understand, code. I've been working waaay too much to get out at all, this is my 19th straight day working right now. I'd better have sat. off or I'll be pissed, so I'll let ya'll know :)

Hey guys...sorry about not getting out much...my weekends are being eaten up like there's no tomorrow.

Hey...what would you think about meeting earlier Saturday evenings, or on Fridays rather than Saturdays?

Maui, get your friend out that was there last time we met! If you read this soon, get back to me, either on here or gimme a call.

hey guys im from chico about 1.5 hours north of sac, but just to let you know there is a norcal dsm group called dsmxtreme there are a few members from sac and a few from chico and a few from near by. one of the guys who is in it has a shop here in chico called race prep, he has a dyno that can also be a awd dyno, they get together some times to have dyno day, they are still charged some but its alot cheaper on dyno day then it would be normaly, anyways all the guys i have talked to and met in it seem pretty cool. they are an yahoo mail group aswell.

also any one goin to the show this saturday? (2-8)

Eric

Hey Eric, what's up?

Yah, I've heard of DSMXtreme. The webpage is bookmarked in my browser, actually. I just need something closer than San Francisco (BADSM), as much fun as the place is, or Chico. There are a lot of DSM owners in Sac that I'm sure would rather have a local club to be part of.

I just went to a dyno day at Vishnu performance in Pleasonton. It was really cool. They don't have a dyno jet they have a diffrent kind of Dyno but from what i saw it seems alot more acurate then a dyno jet. The numbers it gave off were A LOT lower then some other people pulled on a dyno jet. One car had a diffrence of around 60 whp.

I also learned how importent tuning is. A guy of this site tuned his car for like all of one min. He just leaned his car out a little and gained just over 30 whp on his AWD tsi.

OK everyone...we're meeting tonight, Friday February 7th, in the Birdcage Centre Longs Drugs Parking lot @ 9 pm. Bring whoever you can with a DSM. I'm not sure what's going to go on there, so I'm just playing it by ear for now. Let's just get everyone in one spot for now :D

It's on Sunrise boulevard, just down the street from Sunrise Mall.
