Amazon is not your friend when it comes to most high performance parts, and especially turbos(unless a reputable name brand) for the DSM genre .. As the other two other blokes have pointed out, @JusMX141 is the DSM Turbo wiseman that you seek, he will hook you up yip skippy..

A lot of times you can find an EVO guy locally who upgraded to a bigger turbo and can grad their 16G. Just make sure it's not beat.

If you live anywhere but thr US... you could with an evo 3. the evo 8/9 dont use a 16g nor do they use the same turbine flange.

Here's your analogy for the eBay 16g

You can buy running shoes from Walmart. They're probably decent at being shoes, but if you try to use them every day for 5 mile runs in the rain they're going to fall apart. They are shoes, just not built to last, their built to be cheap

So yeah an eBay 16g is a turbo, it works just fine being a basic turbo. Now if you use it as a performance turbo, it's going to have problems. It's just not as reliable at higher than stock boost levels.

Justin will chime in on here from time to time, it's my understanding though that he is more active on Facebook since it's more direct for running a business
