lookin to upgrade fuel pump. help

I've done a lot of homework on this site as well as vfaq.com. I'm at a point where I'm going to get my supporting mods in a ready before I go too deep. I found this fuel pump on ebay.com: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices


Will it work? thank you.

Another question is where is a good place to pick up a DSMLINK from?

That's a great price on a new Walbro 255 as long as its not a knock off.

I would just go Walbro for a few bucks more, they go for about $90.

As far as DSM Link, I am purchasing mine from this guy, he's been helpful with a few questions of my own and stuff. The full version he has for the same price as the link provided by user above me, but the LITE he has for $30 cheaper!

Depending on your hp goal you might want to consider a rewire kit or a 190 walbro, with the 255 you will need a fpr.

I have always ran my 255 without a FPR and have ran fine, tuned/untuned. Of course a 190 will be better for someone that is not able to tune or dial the car in at the moment, but a 255 will be just fine and future proof. Just my two cents of course.

MAP has the real Walbro 255 with the install kit for $94.99 (and if you spend $5 more you get free shipping). I would stick with the real thing.

I wouldn't feel comfortable ordering something like dsmlink from anywhere other then ECMlink or another authorized vender. Would you be able to register with ECMlink and get access to the forums and the support, and upgrades, etc? The thing about ordering directly from ECMlink is that you know that it is the real thing. If anything I would get in contact with ECMlink and see if that is the real deal. The owner is a member on here, you could just send him a pm with the link. The thing about ordering directly from ECMlink, aside from knowing that it is the real thing, is that you can get a 1g ECU converted to EPROM for $95 at the same time. Otherwise, if you get it separate, it is $165.

But he's a 2g, right? Unless it was just a thought you threw out there.
