I just bought a 96 gs-t and want to do a t3t4 turbo setup. I got a buddy who will sell me a brand new turbonetics t3t4 but what other things will i need to make it work in my car. the car came with a 16g and tubular manifold. basically will i have to swap out everything, only reason im doing this is because the 16g broke. thanks for any help

You'll need a lot. I looked at your profile and don't see any mods for fuel or exhaust.. Putting on a turbo that size without supporting mods would be a downgrade for you. Just to bolt the thing on you will need a T3/T4 manifold, an o2 housing, oil feed and return lines, and probably an external wastegate. For quality parts, that will run you around $1k, and is not even including the turbo.
I would suggest you put that money instead to upgrading your injectors, fuel lines, fuel pump and getting a used 16g that you can already just bolt on without the necessary hardware of switching to a t3/t4 style turbo.

You'll more then likely need (based on your profile like talonDSMerr said):

T3 manifold
Wastegate (unless it's internally gated)
o2 housing
Downpipe
oil feed and drain lines
water feed and return lines (if it's BB)
new intake pipe
lower IC pipe
Misc gaskets and hardware
and of course the turbo itself

^ That's just to put the turbo on the motor. I'm a bit confused though because your profile say's your running a SBR g50 and in your post you said you have a 16g. I would recommend that you just have your 16g rebuilt. If you interested in that option contact "jusmx141" on here. he does a great job rebuilding MHI turbo's....

Whoa, what is going on with your profile? You say you have a 16g that is blown, but your profile shows a SBR G50, which one is it? I would recommend staying with mitsu bolt on for now, because it will be a lot cheaper, even if your buddy sells you the Turbonetics turbo on the cheap. The big things you'd have to buy are a new manifold, O2 housing, external wastegate (probably), oil/water lines,and a downpipe. Are you aware that Turbonetics has a less than stellar reputation on these boards for blowing up after a few thousand miles? We need more information like a complete mod list in your profile, what you want out of your car, what kind of turbo you're thinking of getting etc before anyone can give you good advice.

Ok I updated/fixed my profile. Right now I have a blown 16g with a tubular manifold. I want to make some big power with this car cause my friends have evos and stis(wanna keep up). Im probably gonna get another 16g cause I dont have enough money to do the t3t4 setup based on the list you guys gave me. sorry for any confusement.

You can rebuild that 16g for much less than a new one would cost. There are a few members on here that I know rebuild turbos, and a shop like FP can do it for you too, but would probably cost more. I would definitely use that extra money to get some fuel upgrades. You can have any turbo you want but not go anywhere if you don't have the supporting fuel mods.

Next week im getting 880 injectors from a guy near me. also plan to get the 255lph fuel pump, and new rail with ss lines. pretty much wanna change the whole fuel setup just lack of money with the woman unemployed is killing my checks.

Probably should invest in an AFPR with the other fuel parts.

No need to get a new rail, the stock rail flows more than enough for your goals, save your money and just get -6AN adapters for the ends of the stock rail.
