My Hahn SMIC with water injection was able to handle about 22-24psi with a T04b V-trim...but the compressor nut backed-off the T04b and the turbo grinded itself up...

Decided to go with a 57-trim BB T04e...and unfortunately one of the water injection nozzles plugged-up, so I've had to shut it off for the meantime...and the Hahn SMIC seems to only be able to handle about 18 psi before I start seeing knock.

I am now going with a FMIC with the dual water injection system....so I can run the 25psi that I want...

Just thought I would let all of you know the limitations that I'm seeing with the larger SMIC...

SMIC are good to 400HP without heat soaking (Crank power). FMIC is the way to go, just watchout for your coolent temps LOL, you would want to upgrade your radiator as well.

What also works is backing the timing down so you can sustain higher boost levels on pump until you can get the methanol system hooked back up. It's a temporary fix, but it certainly works since boost makes more power than timing anyway.

Can't reduce timing--I actually put in a chip with more aggressive timing...and am only running a SAFC. I already have the new FMIC and new WI nozzles....just need to install...

I'm also not getting 20 psi until about 5000rpm...but I think it's just that the wastegate is too loose... Car runs pretty strong even with slow spool and only ~18-20psi...but can't wait to see how it runs at 25psi...

Yeah your supposed to see 20psi by 4,000-4,100 rpms because thats what i see.
