theres 2 other songs that have the exact same beat....that one by wayne wonder(i htink) and i think the other one was saun paul or soemthing...but yea they sound exactly the same

All reggae/dancehall songs share beats. I have dancehall mixtapes where the first 5 songs will have the same beat and it sounds like one huge multi-artist song.

Having been a dj for 2 years I have the ear for these kind of things. Not too shabby man, although 75% of Lil Jon's songs will mix together fairly easy. Your right in your previous post (I realize this is an old thread, I havent seen it) mixing can be tough, especially hip hop. But honestly, mixing an acapella with an instrumental is going to be as easy as it gets.

Did you ever get any Dj equipment? I know you had a few posts about it back when. Just curious.

No not yet...hopefully this Christmas. It's on my list haha, so we will see. I just do simple mixing and creating stuff with Acid 4.0 and Sound Forge for now. And yes, mixing an acapella and beat is extremely easy, I just thoguht it was funny how they matched up perfectly. Anyways, thanx for the comments. What kind of stuff do you do Turbo Frog? Do you have any of your music posted anywhere? Later

Oh man, I sold all my equipment once i got the eclipse. That was a good 2 years ago. I regret it so much which is why Im doing it all over again This January. So come Jan. Im buying all new stuff and getting back into it. The good thing is alot of people havent forgotten me so I can easily jump back into the scene. I personally spun Dance music, from breakbeats to Hard House thats what I liked to do. But most of my gigs consisted of Hip Hop cause that is what the people wanted. Anyway, good luck with that man. Your gonna love it. (and so will the ladies..... )

Haha well it sounds awesome. If I get my euipment I'm sure I'll be talking to you for some tips and stuff. From what I hear, Technics sounds like the best overall stuff, is this right? Also, did you use any computer music software at all?

I had all Vestax gear. Although I was more of a battle dj than anything. But Youre going to want to go Technics, Its been the Number one table for years. Im only going vestax again cause its going to be cheap for me. The only music software I messed with was Cool Edit and Adobe Audition. But it is nice to spin for a few hours then jump back on the computer and start the editing process to perfect any imperfections. Im still learning how to use the programs though
