Lil' Jon Messed Up...

ok this is for you people who listen to rap ( i do myself)...anyways, i was at my friends house and he got some entertainment magazine of somethin in the mail so we picked that up and flipped it open, and right when we opened it we saw a pic of Lil Jon and his shiney ol' teeth and pimp cup so we read about it. the article explained how Lil' Jon made this beat and gave it to Petey Pablo awhile back and Petey Pablo got back to Lil Jon awhile later and said that he used the beat to make "Freek-A-Leek" and his producers and everybody have it on vinyl now, so Lil Jon was all cool until he realized he gave the same beat to Usher. Little did he know Usher already made his hit song "Yeah" (w/ Luda) and was gettin ready to put it on vinyl. So Lil jon gave Usher the news and ended up having to make a replacement beat for Usher which was basically a remix of the original beat. Anyways, the two beats match up about perfectly so I had this idea. I downloaded the "Freek-A-Leek" instrumental and the "Yeah" vocals and mixed the two over eachother, adjusted volumes and all that good stuff and it sounds about normal. So now i got this song...so if you wanna hear it, just post your email and i will send it in MP3 form. Unless anybody knows a place where i can post this up for streaming or something...later

im glad he remixed it for usher, i dont think the song would have been as good. I'm listening to it as im typing this. It does sound good, but not as good as the "Yeah" thats out now.

wow thanx for all the compliments guys...and about a little bit being off, mixing music is not an easy thing, not nearly as easy as PS or anything, i spent about 2 hours on the song and thats about the best i can get for that amount of time unless i started mixing wave lengths and all that crap. but anyways, yeah go to the link that got posted so i dont have to email you all, thanx!

What program do you use to mix songs liek that? I have a few songs taht I wouldnt mind taking the voices out and putting onto another song.
