License Plate Blocking Flow

I just got pulled over in my neighborhood for not having a front license. The cop starts speaking spanish to me too. Sorry bud, but I speak English and a little French. Anyway, he gave me a week to get my license plate out from the front window and on my bumper. I told the cop that my car doesn't have mounting holes. He told me the dealership will give me a free mount. Will this mount just clip on?
Also, would this way block air flow to the engine (mounting it in front of radiator)?

I'd bet the "free mount" they'd give you (IF they would) is one that screws into the bumper cover. The factory mount is a sheet metal boat anchor that mounts on the three studs under the top edge of the mouth and comes up in front of the top lip- and gets bent back as soon as someone backs into you. And that mount _wouldn't_ be free.

I used insulated harness clips for mine, from the fuse rack at the parts store. The metal ones with the rubber padding. The top of the plate is screwed into them, and they're wrapped around the upper power steering cooler. Because of the jog in it, I put one "up" and one "down", and then still bent them a bit to try and get the plate mostly straight.

Because it's standing off from the radiator a couple of inches, I've had no cooling issues at all-- and I'll venture it gets a bit warmer here than there. It's also angled back a fair bit. The bottom is held just by the lower edge of the bottom lip.
