I'm very interested in the BC2 kit. I'm trying to build a show-car and although I like the OEM bodystyle, it just doesnt cut it for major car shows. I was wondering if anyone had some pics of this kit on a showed-out 2G (Non-Spyder). Thanks.

I got the rear and sides, took me a couple months 2 get the rear from them, then it didn't fit right and they guarantee it so I waited another 6 months to get the replacement. Not the greatest fit, but I'm molding so won't matter too much. I would not order it directly from them - terrible customer service.

Ok, that statement is wrong! Why? Because I useto think the exact same thing before I placed 2nd in a big car show here in Colorado. There were cars from all the surrounding states there. I was the only OEM bodied Mitusbishi in the Mitsubishi class. There was about 15-20 cars in the Mitsubishi class. I was suprised. The show was about the biggest in Colorado, so it was major to a point.
If it was HIN, IAS, NOPI, or SEMA, then I'd still keep the OEM bumpers and skirts, and repaint the car a nice color. Just tell the judges that you have the money for a kit, but you don't like them. Say your going for a JDM theme (I know DSM's arent JDM). A stock bodied car sticks out in a field of cars with body kits.

I know what you're saying, but most judges at shows like HIN specifically look for bodykits..thats the thing. A sick paintjob will only take you so far in national events. That's awesome that you took that prize though, mad props. I was actually thinking about molding some wide-body fenders on the oem body along with a lip and some Volk GT-P's with paint but I'm not sure if that would be show-stopping for judges..I wish they had a super-clean kit out for our 2G's. The BC2 is the nicest I've seen yet when the car is painted and lowered properly.

according to many people i have spoken to, the company buddy club and garage is located about 5-10 miles up the road from me, but i have never been there in person. I'm thinking about taking a drive up there, and trying to find it, it might seem wierd but i never go up the hill (i live way out in the boonies) and the city of utica is in the othe direction so i never go up the hill, nothin to see up there but farms and hick shacks. they are located in newport NY an even bigger hick town than i live in. I see everyday a 96-99 red civic hatch with a carbon fiber hood and hatch on black rims going up the road everyday, and a yellow integra type R with volk's too. Everybody i talked to says they work for buddy club, i'd like to flag them down and find out what the deal is, suppoedly they do custom CF work, dashboards and etc, i would like to get a trunklid made.. i remember looking into their kit, it was kinda expensive, and supposedly i couldn't pick it up, it had to be shipped. i haven't heard the greatest things about the fit of the rear especially. very clean though, looks great.

Buddy Club 2 kit is really nice eventhough it sits very low with it. I modified it just because I wanted to have something unique on it ;-)
