can figure this one out. My slave (clutch) was replaced because it was bad. My pressure was great, but now i'm realizing that after riding on the highway, I lose pressure again. There are no leaks because i checked it so many damn times and my resevoir stays the same. Also after I get off the highway, and pump the clutch a couple of times, I regain pressure also... go figure. I'm guessing it's the master that needs to be replaced now. My car is a 97 GSX with 80K+ miles on it (not bad huh), so i'm assuming this is around the time when things start to go on it. But let me know what you guys think.

And a second question is, I pulled the honey comb from my MAF/MAS, and now I have a rough idle at times and very little egine dies. It was running fine before I removed the honey comb, I blow off into the atmosphere... i'll adjust my biss to see if I can fix it there.

Serious? You don't think it could be the master? Just wanting to be sure... also, why does it lose pressure after highway driving... just trying to learn!

My first responce was vauge, Im sorry. Bleed it again and see. Also why did you remove your honeycombs and dont vent with out a maft. I would get recirculated.

Taking the advice of someone else (stupid me), and i'm working on trying to get the GM MAF and the MAFT because i'm getting the idleing issue. But I think i'm having turbo issues also...

quite often after you replace one part of the clutch system the master or slave they system is out of wack because of a new higher pressure part in the system.. thats why they really recomend if you replace one you should replace the other.. have you tried adjusting the clutch pedel? what other issue's are you haveing?

The clutch seemed to work itself out... about the pressure, you maybe right and if i'm not mistaken, I read that there will be some air in the unit when installed new. But I did realize to my relief, that clutch pedal pressure is fine... even after highway driving. But the strange sound coming from the engine on hard acceleration is killing me. I'm thinking of just changeing out all the pulleys and belts (accessories also) because i'm unsure if the pulleys were changed at sixty because I bought it at 79K. Either way, I still don't know what the hell the sound is. Thanks for all the help guys!
