Do any of you 2g guys have this problem?

I know this thread will probably end up getting locked but oh well, i need to vent a little.

Does your car have problems making it up on a lift without ripping your front bumper off? EVEN ON A STOCK SUSPENSION!! I desperately needed to get an allignement today since i did my tie rods yesterday and all the lifts where i live, oh say 7 shops, my car would scrape no matter what, even if they put a block or another ramp.

any suggestions?

My car is a little tight to get on some lifts with the prokit.

I just have 2 people stand on either side at the front wheel wheels and lift to front end to get enough clearance.

They make ramp extenders for home ramps. They should work the same. Basically you just need to find a way to make they ramps have less slope which means the ramp needs to be longer.

My car is low and just to make sure I am ready for anything, I have a set of 2x4's in the trunk to help me load up on a flatbed IF EVER the GSX would be on one again.

Good flatbed drivers always have them ready but just in-case, I carry them around.

Every since I have purchased my car I have always thought it sat rather low. But the guy who had it before me swears up and down that its totally stock. The suspension is rather soft on it like it is stock with 150k on it. But when parked next to my cousins 98 GSR it appears that the bottom of my front bumper is about 1.25" lower than his.
