less weight or more balance, wich is more desirable to have in a road racing car?

Is there some thing wrong with the question?

I'ts just a question.......jeeeeez

According to my physics professor, the actual weight has nothing to do with the handling of a car.

Just like putting weight in the back of a truck helps in the snow  .
Anyways both will help handleing, I have weight taken out of my car and it helped my handleing as well as helped my traction on launches. Balance is always better to have then less weight...unless your talking about a sever weight loss. Reviews on my weight loss about 120 pounds in the rear, it was worth it great all around.

There is no general answer to this question.

If the car is an underpowered pig, then dropping weight is probably more important. If the car has plenty of power, but is completely lopsided, then balance is probably more important.

Other than telling you that there's no simple answer (as well as making it clear that some professors are idiots), this thread is not going to help.

Wow, looky!

It was closed yesterday for Bench Racing, and now it's happening again!

Wanna see if it happens again tomorrow? Right before you get suspended?

C'mon, how curious are you? Hmmm?
