Hey guys, im kinda stumped. I went to take my buddy to the Airport today and while cruising at about 75-80 mph i noticed my wideband reading very lean. 16-17 and sometimes reads nothing (---) AEM WB. This is the first highway cruise i have done since i did switched over to Narrowband Simulation with dsmlink V3. The white wire from WB is tapped into the rear o2 pin on the ecu and simulating narrowband sucessfully in the front o2 spot. Then also being logged on dsmlink under linearWideband. When i logged before the readings were very close. Unfortunately i didnt have my laptop with me to log this lean cruise. The car seemed sputtery and hesitate a little when i would accelerate. I have no boost leaks. No Exhaust leaks. This just started after the switch to narrow band sim. I didnt have this issue without logging the wideband and having my front o2 sensor installed. please help!:dsm:

The gauge shouldn't read blank like that. Mine when there is no fuel reads at 22.4. You sure the gauge is working?

Also, are you sure you have it going to the correct pin on the ECU? The car will run very lean if it is not getting it's o2 signal from the front sensor. Maybe the wire broke? Mine got cut by my clutch pedal once and my car leaned out like crazy.

Check the gauge integrity and wire integrity. Also, check the pin to a pinout to verify.

Edit: Or you could have made a noob move: Did you save the changes to the ECU in link/made sure narrowband sim was set up correctly?

When the AEM wide band reads --- its just like when you let off. When crusing and it hits --- its only for like a split second. I know its the right pin cause its set up exacly how my buddys car is. Unfortunately he cant help me right now cause he is deployed. I know the WB gauge is good because this only happens at higher speeds like 70+ cruising. If i go WOT it reads fine will go rich at wot like normal to about 10.8-11.1. Yes everything is saved on link and tomorrow just incase ill check out the wire from the WB and im also gonna try to get a log and see if the wb readings match on my log.

That is very strange that it only gives you problems cruising at a certain speed...

Is your fuel pressure good? Maybe the ECU is just having a hard time going into "learn mode?"

Someone with more experience is going to need to take over. I've never had an issue like that before.

it is very strange, yes fuel pressure is still 43.5 without the vacuum line on my aeromotive. i still havent had another change to hit the highway, i might tonight going to the car meet. Im gonna log it if i can go. But i may have caught the culprit. I have been switching back and forth between my 2 laptops when logging and noticed that 1 laptop doesnt notice the changes made to the ecu i did with the other one so maybe when i use laptop number 2 it makes it run different than when laptop number 1 is plugged in? my maf comps are different between the 2. im gonna take laptop number 1 with the correct maf comp.
