420A Leaking oil really bad

I have a 99 eclipse gs. I changed my oil about 800 miles ago. I used castrol gtx high mileage like usual, with a bosch high milealage filter. I checked my oil levels frequently after my change and it didnt move at all. So i stoped checking after about 3 weeks

My oil light started comming on everytime i took a courner and it started to concern me so i checked my oil and it was below minimum

I refilled it to the top. But there are no oil spots in my driveway and idk if i am burnin through the oil or if its leaking? Rear main seal or other issue?

Yea you are burning the oil, does your oil meter move to the correct place? and does your light come on? and maybe your seal's are messed up.

If you can jack of the front and get under and look around the backside of the engine block for oil leaks. The common leaks on the 420A engine are the valve cover, head gasket, oil pressure sensor, rear main seal, and sometimes the cam seals.

I dont have an oil pressure gauge. i bought a cheap sunpro oneand it stopped workin gafter a month. and the oil light only came on when going around corners, thats why i checked it.

Ok thank you, i will check for that. I notice a little bit of oil on the frame but not enough to make me believe 3 quarts of oil leaked out. But i havent looked anywhere hard yet, I will do that today. Thank you
