leakage

i have a messed up problem, my oil is leaking out and its quite noticable not like a drop here.. a drop there. Its more like 1.5- 2 quarts about ever 300 miles i drive. now i replace the gasket once before and used RTV sealant, it seems to be coming out between the block and the pan with the RTV i used a proper gasket supplied from advance auto, i was wonder if anyone might have changed theres and what kind of RTV did they use, did they use a gasket.. cuz this book from HAYNES says i just need the RTV and any other info would be cool.

93 eclipse, 1.8 liter.

-If it's on the timing belt side, you might want to check out the crank shaft oil seal too.
