When it is hot my car leaks black sealant under the doors. It melts from inside the plastic door cover and comes out on the bottom. It hardens and looks like sticky tar. I clean it off and it comes back anytime it gets hot. I started taking the passenger door off but stopped the process once cheap screws fell out from inside the door. I am aware that this is a common problem among 99 Eclipses. Has anyone discovered a do-it-yourself resolution?
