Lc-1 wide band grounding?

I just bought a new lc-1 and iv searched a bit on how to hook it up and such but i didnt really find an answer of where to ground it? My idea was ither where the ecu is grounded, of the battery or off the motor through the fire wall. What are your guys set ups? Ideas?
 
So just anywhere? Or should it be relatively close to the ecu? Or does it even matter? And one of your links said the blue and white wire should be grounded separately, so if i was to do that i would just use two lugs one for the blue wire and the other for all the other grounds. But i would put them close together, is that the right way?
 
Any piece of metal on the chassis is a good place to ground. It doesn't matter where on the car. If its close to your radio, I would just put a spade terminal on your ground wire and put it under one of the screws that holds your radio in.

Optimally, these (and any other MTS device ground) will be soldered to the same lug, and connected to a single point. When this isn't possible, connect each one to a separate lug, and attach in close proximity. Multiple lugs on the same bolt is not optimal, and can result in unwanted signal "noise." When possible, soldering is always better than crimping. "

Any piece of bare metal. Painted, powdercoated, anodized, rusted, etc. will not allow for a good ground.

Brian just got lazy and didnt want to post a link...He's usually really good about this stuff. What happaned today Brian? I'm just screwing with ya btw...;)

But really yeah any chassis bare metal will be good enough...

That was a quote from Innovate's manual for the LC-1. I kind of understand it, but I think it is a bit confusing and contradicts itself. I followed the part where it mentions being soldered to the same lug. My guess is by "separated" they mean both wires need to run to the grounding point, not one wire with the other spliced into it before hand.

I'm not familiar with the DB gauge so hopefully someone else can lend a hand.
