I'm down for some meets, I went to one here in San Jose last semeseter. I went there again but I was kind of late, and everyone had left.

I'm pretty much free any night as well, I'm staying majority of the weekends now, so I don't have much to do.
 
im down to go to meets as long as i'm in the bay. i went to all three over the summer and they were great. hopefully the new laser is running when this meet goes down. im tired of my talon.

Well sheesh, it's still pretty early for tonight, who wants to hang out? Or maybe sometime this weekend? I'll be in San Jose tomorrow until night time, I'll probably go to the in-laws over in Hercules and stay there until Monday. Are there any DSMers around Hercules? I'm usually there on the weekends.
 
Mt. Hamillton meet was fun. I'll be out to meet whenever as soon as my car is running and tuned. Probably be done sunday. Anyone going to Hot Import Nights in San Jose on the 25th? Maybe we could meet there for a bit? Also is anyone planning to attend CMI on april 1st and 2nd? I know I'll be out there trying to hit 12s LOL. Just some other ideas for upcoming things.

I will be attending CMI hoping to hit mid to low 11s..... IF the car is still RUNNING. HIN also with some of the guys from wyldkardz

I used too be all about kicking it with the DSM guys, but honestly after a while...I started getting burned and lost trust in 99% of them. I do try to help when I have time or when Im taking a break from wrenching on the broken bucket.

Chris is right about following the "leadership" type. When I meet the newer DSM guys, its OOOO is that a T3/T4??? what kind of BOV is that??? oh man 11sss thats fast!!!

I just kinda get tired of that and have been sticking to my own for quite some time.

I do spontaneously go to the track and try to attend the major events at the local tracks. Now that I will become a full time driver for UPS I will be keeping it off the streets, and on the track. So the bay area might have another full drag DSM.

If any of you guys ever see me at the track, occasionally I will seems grumpy, but keep in mind I was most likely up for 24 hours or so getting the car ready for the track :boring:

Whoever organizes something please post clearly what the date and time of the event will be. I hate sifting through 6 pages of nonsense trying to find wtf the time/date of the event is.

I would love to actually have some sort of a meet. I hang out with the 300zx club and they have meets all the time! The last "meet" I went to was when we went to Infineon. There were only a total of 4 actual DSMs though (eclipsegrindin, greddygst, and the guy with the Racing Hart rims (sorry, forgot his sn.)) I work every other Saturday, but can probably work something out. :thumb:
 
I'm down for meets or what not...finally got my car back running thanks to FFTEC. I always road race my car with NASA organization, and next event is on march 11-12. I'm usually the only eclipse out there hunting down all tha evo's. http://www.nasaproracing.com/schedules/norcal.html ima be at all these weekend events so if anyone ever wants to go to juss lemme know.

Ronnel (90RekTsi) tried to get me to go to those Wed or Fri night hangouts, but I was busy with work and school back then. Now I'm more flexible to go out after work. If you're free on fridays or saturdays come on out to Big Dogs on Foxworthy and Cherry. I think I met you out there once a while back on a Thursday. DSM's were out for like a week or two then it died off, but the group of people that I hang around with are out there every friday and saturday (we just moved our meets back there again). Keep in mind DSM's are a minority though, but who cares if it's just a group of people that all like cars. There's always something to talk about.

There's always something going on around here. I just got back from a VW meet at a Starbucks on El Camino near lawrence a bit ago. Limit yourself to bay area dsm meets and you'll never get out of the house. :p

If you want something to do in San Jo, check out the meets section on www.performancesport.net ...and don't be scared if you don't see any dsm's. They won't laugh at you. ROFL
 
Hey, I said Friday and Saturday nights, but I think the subie guys still meet there on thursdays. ;)
 
Hey Gary, what days are you going to be up here in San Jose? I wanna' check out your car. Where from Oxnard are you from? I'm from Oxnard too. My parents live in the Lemonwood area near Channel Islands High School across the bridge.

I'm free on Thursdays! Not having a garage sucks! I feel your pain. I just pulled an engine/tranny from the parts car... up at my parents house in Richmond. I live in Santa Clara btw. Maybe I should change my Location.

James - nice to see you're still doing the NASA events. We just moved out here to Colorado and I'm helping set up the NASA chapter out here. We have our first event on March 11/12 as well. I can't wait to get out there and stretch the legs again! Have fun at Thunderhill.
