just bought a brand-new laptop running windows xp at 2.5 ghz. I really really want to use it to tune my 95 eclipse gs. Ive searched around the forum and havent found any good answers on what i have to buy or even if its possible.

all i know is the manu. date on my car is 1994 and it is OBDII

so my question is what and where can i by the OBDII cable to connect to my laptop and what software will let me tune for best performance. I already have header-back exhuast and cai and im in the process of saving some monet for p&p intake manifold and a bigger tb i heard a s-afc will tune the car to make all these mods more effective, im hoping i can use my laptop for the same purpose. thanks in advance

ok, i guess i can deal with that. But i was really hoping to shoot some NOS aka NAWWS and have bolts fly out of my car and look at my laptop say "SHUT UPP" and slam it down!!!
:p :thumbdown
but i guess i S-AFC will do :thumb:

but with all seriousness i would like to put the laptop to work, any ideas where i can get the datalogging cable/ software?

Standalone, to fine tune your car (Haltech, AEM EMS, etc.).

IMO wouldn't be worth the money, like mentioned above, S-AFC would do just fine.
