shave ur door handles before u call it done IMHO... i like the looks otherwise

$1400 to make your doors open up instead of out? Geez whats next. Engines that mount upside down so you can show off your oil pan?

It looks cool, but I just don't get it. Seriously $1400 and the doors do exactly what they did before.

Some people MUST bling.

That being said, I think it looks good. I hope you think the money was worth it. ;)

***puts on pointed hat***

How do they operate? I've always wondered. When you close them, do they go down and then you pull them in? I just wondered. Looks nice though. :thumb:

sorry, damn, that is nice, i need to take pics of cars for money for people, that was awesome photography there

hey, when ya gotta bling, ain't no thing

6bolt? 4bolt?

Ah, wait, you're in new york, nevermind

I still can't get over how god damn sexy that car is!!!(original poster's)

VERY NICE. I would agree that you should shave the handles before you call it done, and possibly drop the spoiler... but it looks really good as is... Now, these doors, they still open out as normal, don't they? I've seen kits that open both ways, up or out, so you can choose...

you should make a little video of you opening the door from the inside and getting out so we can see how they work and see how easy/hard it is to get out of the car

looks great btw :thumb:

you know i am kinda curious as to how those work too. i've never been up close enough to a car with it done to see.

I'm so envious, am getting some this saturday, my wife and I are arguing, she saying it not practical and all that, luckily i get paid to find out, because I need to make a lambo door install article for the local performance mag as well as a living with lambo doors to see if it really worth that kind of dough.

personally I feel the need to bling, nobody has ever done lambo doors on a coupe here, most people lambo dor their 4 doors :barf:

i second that "motion". i just busted my load too  . very nice car, so nice that i'm gonna rape it, in the mouth  !!

i do think, though, that a complete custom wide body would make that exterior that much better. of course, i'm thinking in the range of 10-20 grand just on the body, but that's me. i'm NOT saying that i'm an all-show-no-go type of person, which i'm not. performance always comes first for me, then looks, then audio/video. but again, that's just me.

Hate to be a jerk but I gotta agree with DSMJim, there's way better things to spend 1400 dollars on. I know you wanna be different, but I didn't think people would be so quick to throw their money away these days. And yes Lambo doors ARE impractical because if you have to park in a mall or shopping center, and someone comes along and parks close to you (which happens more often than we'd like) you're pretty much screwed and can't get in.

I'm not a fan of the Lambo doors, but the rest of the car (other than them) looks good.

Actually dude, the doors open a lot easier in tight spaces than with the stock hinges. They only pull out about a foot and a half, and then raise, so actually it's more convenient.
