knocking when accelerating

I had this car for a lil under a month and i jus notice a oil leak and the day before i got the oil change i started to hear a knocking noise between 2-3000 rmps. the oil was a lil low but after i changed it it still doing it someone said it might be the lifters or maybe the rod bearings so if someone could help me up i will be happy

If its only between a a certain rpm it ###### not the motor

check your front cv axles.. this is what was the issue with mine but when I got to a certain speed I couldn't hear it. Turns out the passenger was broken.
