I just have a question and wanted to know of anyone had an idea on whats going on. If o have my car around 12 psi and make a third gear pull its does find aside from creeping to 19 psi but shows no knock. When i tune my car up to around 15 psi and go out and make a pull again it knocks as soon as i get on it. I just wanted to know that if its able to run up to 19 pounds then why cant it handle 15 psi and up?

Since you have dsmlink, post a log of both occurances (low boost with creep and no knock and higher boost with knock).

When you click "post reply", scroll down to "additional options" and use the "attach files" feature. It's very simple.

OK sounds easy but i noticed that when i would drive normel at around 16psi and get on it thats when it would really knock but when i did just third gear it was not as bad but still did not but here are the runs and i also noticed at idle timing was going from 2-15/16 degrees so i think that could have to do with some of this.

Every log i saw has knock in it, not just the logs with higher boost. Conclusion, you need to richen it up. Also, 1gs have aggressive timing so you may want to drop the timing some.

Did you set your fuel trims? You will find ALOT of useful information on the dsmlink forums. http://www.dsmlink.com/forums/index.php?

Do yourself a favor and let off when that check engine light comes on or you can blow your engine. I set my check engine light to come on with 1 degree of knock retard instead of 5 which i think is way too high.

Alright ill check out that site i have not really done much with link since i got it i was waiting to get on the dyno so i can have a wideband and then have someone show me how to tune a lot better with it but ill try what you said and check out the site but thanks for all your help
