I have installed a Kiggly 2 tooth trigger wheel on my 1G 6 bolt Talon. The idea of this was to get a consistent base timing at 5deg and not have to worry about belt stretch, timing creep, etc. at higher rpms. Prior to wiring in the sensor I double checked my base timing in ECMLink and made sure the CAS was adjusted correctly and I had 5 deg base timing when "Ground timing connector to ECU" was checked in ECMLink.

The problem I'm having after wiring in the Kiggly 2 tooth trigger wheel is when "Ground timing connector to ECU" is checked in ECMLink, and I check the timing with a light, it is at 0 deg and not 5 deg where the wheel is suppose to keep it. The fix for this would be to add 5 degrees of timing to the entire timing map but I'm hesitant to do that until I feel confident there aren't other issues.

I've tripled checked all timing marks and everything is correct. The Fluidampr pulley lines up with the timing belt cover close enough that it's within noise and definitely not 5 deg off (possibly off by half the width of the notch as seen in pictures).

The timing mark/hole on the Kiggly trigger wheel lines up with the arrow on the Frontline Fab front cover and the cam gear marks line up and are level with the head.

One question I had was if the trigger wheel should be covering as much of the sensor as it does when at TDC?

My next step is to put in my TDC locator and get the dial gauge out to make sure the true TDC lines up with all of the timing marks. Other than that does anyone have any suggestions?

I e-mailed the Kiggly Racing sales e-mail on their website a few days ago but have not hear back from them.
