I have a Check Engine light that I highly suspect is a O2 sensor, but I want to double check as well as see what other codes (if any) I have.

I've done several searches and everything I've read has said to turn the key On - Off - On - Off - On within 5 seconds. I've done this and my Check Engine light stays solid the whole time. I've tried doing the key turns as fast as possible, I've tried doing it slowly taking the whole 5 seconds, I've tried On - Acc - On - Acc - On, everything and my CEL just stays solidly lit up and never blinks.

My car is a 1995 Talon TSi AWD. Will the keydance not work on my car, or am I just an idiot? :D

Thanks!

You can only do that in the older Chrysler vehicles pre-O.B.D (I believe from 1987 and back.) I started working on cars in 1993 and some manufactures started integrating into O.B.D. vehicle diagnostics. In or around about mid-94 and 1995 and up vehicles upgraded to O.B.D II since then. That technique will not work; since now you need a "scan tool", data logger; or code reader to retrieve any trouble codes and turn "off" the "check engine" light. You have to find a shop or someone who has the tools mentioned above to retrieve and delete the trouble code so that the "check engine" light will turn "off". Sounds pretty simple, right?
