k20 head on 4g63?

Just wondering if a K20a2 head would bolt on to a 4g63 bottom end. Yes I know its Honda but the head flows very well, vtec and revs to 8k+ but anyway would it bolt on or is the bolt pattern different?

I would highly doubt that the head would bolt up. Of course i have never tried but i dont imagine that it would.

and VTEC is rather enticing to me because it would b a very good set up especially on an awd platform rather than a fwd (no offense gs-t owners). That is why the RB series engines all have some sort of timing control.

Why bother with vtec, why not just have ALL the valves open whenever you hit WOT, not a set RPM? Did that ever confuse anyone else?

they? u mean it. Anyway since u guys dont like the idea of anything honda being anywhere near ## car what about the mivec head from the evo? Personally id swap the whole k20 motor in my car with 6 spd and turbo it but that would b pretty costly but fun as hell.

The evo's timing belt is on the opposite side....thats one of many reasons it won't work.

How bout you just buy a honda, it wil make so much easier. There is this wonderful forum for hondas called honda-tech go there, but first sell me your dsm.

Start your k20 swap into a dsm cause machining work to make that head bolt onto the 6 bolt would be a hefty price as well. Even after you have been proved it wont work, you continue. Because most of us have class. And the decentsy to answer the peoples questions. After all this IS a learning site. So good job man. You hate hondas so much, you may have just added another one to the map. I rather see a honda enthuiest driving a dsm and learning about them, then boasting about a fwd toaster.
