So i have this 2g talon 16g pushin 20psi for my daily driver..

I dont really drive her too hard but lately when i get on it and it hits around 4-5k rpms it starts to sputter like pop pop kind of sounds.

now when i had fuel cut in my old 1g, i would just like cut fuel completly.

there is no afr gauge in it but they had it all set like it is when i bought it.

so i guess my question is, Should i go buy a nice wideband and try my hand at adjusting the fuel pressure?

and before this was happening it was running like a rape ape, so any ideas of what the problem could be? or what could have caused it?

Check your spark plugs as well. Make sure there good and gapped right.

Have you done any adjustment to the fuel pressure at all yet? I ran to high fuel pressure once and almost like a switch when I would hit 4.5k it would start cutting back and sputter. Check all couplers for any loose clamps cracks make sure you don't have any boost leaks. You can do a low gear high load pull and see if it cuts out any then. Weak Spark is a possibility.

Im starting to lean towards plugs cause a few months ago hen it was cold it wouldnt even idle unless i gave it gas... And the problem has occured now that it has warmed up quite a bit.

What do you mean by low gear high load pull?

and it sounds like the same problem you had but just happened out of the blue

and yeah theres an adjustable fpr but it was running like a champ before and i havent touched it

sorry for any misspells and grammar extremely tired

I would check plugs and plug gap. Every few months or so I have to re-gap my plugs. Apparently over time my plug gap likes to open up just enough to make my car get spark blowout. When that happens its always under full boost and causes the car to stutter/hesitate.

Sorry about the late response, New NGK plugs did the trick... Now why didnt i think of that? =p

Your one of the more forunate some ppl spend tons of money trying to fix the problem and relize it was a small fix or even a boost leak, me and my buddys found this out the hard way! dont forget to mark thread as resolved bud!:hellyeah:
