just picked up a 2g gsx

so i just picked up my first ever dsm. 1997 gsx with 28k original miles. As far as i know it has a hahn racing 16g turbo, a greddy front mount, 3 in downpipe, 2.5 inch cat back, greddy type s bov, and injen intake. any suggestions for making it faster? id like to tune it but know nothing about tuning.

FIC's seem to be popular. I got some 650's for a decent price. I get all my parts from extremepsi, they have the lowest prices from what I have seen so far. Nice find I cant wait to hit up the car showext summer on the eastern shore.

As far as siz go if you go dsmlink I would go big. Like around 800 or so.

im thinking i will eventually upgrade my 16g to something a little bigger so i would want some injectors that will work good with my 16g with a tune but also will be able to handle something a little bigger. wanna run mid to low 12's so whatever will get

just a little update. Ive been taking everones advice to take care of the car. have only put about 300 miles on it since october. I did a synthethic oil change, took off all the rear emblems, and did an antenna and rear wiper delete. Also took the mesh grill out of the bumper.

i will be doing coilovers and thermal exhaust soon. Also hope to get dsmlink lite soon and a car cover. Gonna take my time and do it right.

He said it has a metal ecu case.I just want to say that's a gorgeous car and a rare find.I would open up the ecu and make sure it is not chipped/linked yet too.

I would say the grill would save the cooling fins on the fmic from debris and such, risk bending the fins or what have you. But IMO, looks better without the grill. The whole grill thing is PASSEE...kind of like altezza tail lights on honda's. everyone had em, and by now, they're no where to be found. if the car didn't rust away into the ground, the light's (which were poorly manufactured) didn't hold a good seal and built up condensation...

Seriously research all your mods before taking a wrench to that car. And more importantly, get a handle on the car too...would hate to see it wrapped around a tree because you got carried away making it go fast but couldn't handle the power. *SERIOUSLY* it's a GEM!!
